Quiet Moments - Yoga With Connie

Svaroopa® yoga is a style of yoga that meets you just where you are and takes you into the Bliss of Your Own Being. It is both a precise and compassionate yoga practice created for the purpose of healing, transformation, and transcendent experience.

You lie in Shavasana, yoga's relaxation pose, at the beginning of each class and Connie guides you through your body.

Next you continue to lie in Shavasana and Connie will lead you through a breathing practice to relax your body and mind even more.

In each class you do yoga poses that can be adapted for your body. The aim of these poses is to unravel the deepest knots of muscular tension from tail to top resulting in spinal release.

Class routines vary from week to week; some poses are included each week and others are taught as the series progresses. Each class ends with a second guided relaxation.

After the class students often say:..."I feel so relaxed."..." The pain I felt when I got here disappeared."..." I feel so good."...Many also say: "I never felt like this before."
